Ukemeobong is a female Nigerian multidisciplinary artist who had begun her journey into art at age 6 where she developed instructional materials for her mother who was a teacher. She had been practicing since then, and began experimenting with fabric scraps in 2019. She went fully into mixed media technique where she explores textiles, acrylics and charcoal. She has a Diploma and Bachelor of Arts degree in Fine and Industrial Arts from the University of Uyo in Akwa Ibom state, Nigeria. She has taken part in a number of competitions and exhibitions, including Bourgeon 1, Life in My City (LIMCAF), Usoro Uso, United Nations International Youth Week and many more.

Through the lens of perception, Ukemeobong, believes it is crucial to investigate the interfaces that establish links into various human experiences. She creates handcrafted artworks by transforming discarded textiles into visually striking, meaningful pieces.
What makes her work unique is the fusion of sustainability, storytelling, and texture. Each piece carries a narrative, often reflecting culture, identity, or social themes while also promoting environmental responsibility.
