Kareem Yusuf Oluwadamilare is a professional painter known for his strong focus on Black art and
the celebration of African heritage. His work explores identity, culture, and social narratives, using
painting as a powerful tool for storytelling and impact.
He earned his National Diploma in Art from Adeseun Ogundoyin Polytechnic, Eruwa, graduating in
2023. During his academic journey, he completed a one-year Industrial Training at Olatunji Gbega
Aguda Art Studio and Gallery, where he gained practical experience in studio practice, professional
painting techniques, and art presentation.
Currently, Kareem is pursuing a Bachelor's degree at Obafemi Awolowo University, further
developing his artistic voice and expanding his research into contemporary African visual culture.
Kareem’s artistic journey began in 2017 at Unique Art and Printing Studio, where he built his
foundation in drawing and painting. Since 2023, he has remained fully focused on art practice and
the art business, actively exploring opportunities to grow professionally and reach wider audiences.
His work is also connected to the global art space through Artsy, where he continues to explore
visibility and engagement.
Driven by passion and purpose, Kareem Yusuf Oluwadamilare creates works that highlight African
heritage, Black identity, and cultural pride, positioning his art as both expressive and socially
meaningful.
