Akintomide Akinshola (b. 1995, Ondo, Nigeria) is a contemporary visual artist based in Lagos. Raised in a family of crop farmers, his early encounters with everyday materials sparked a deep curiosity for artistic expression. He studied Fine and Applied Arts Education at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, where he began shaping his distinctive visual language.

Akinshola has participated in several group exhibitions in Nigeria and internationally. His practice centers on identity, culture, and human relationships, using ink and acrylic to create expressive figurative works. Known for his exaggerated facial features particularly the nose he transforms personal childhood experiences into symbols of strength and individuality.

Through layered compositions and the fusion of African and global textile patterns, his work reflects on connection, belonging, and the shared threads of human experiences.
